The world will remain beautiful, vibrant and bright only if we take proper care of our precious eyes. Our eyes need proper exercises to remain healthy and fresh. Eyes are one of those parts of our body, which are stressed and strained the maximum. It is due to watching TV, working on computer or by doing any normal activity of the day. Exercises designed to strengthen one's eyes help in providing relaxation to the tired eyes along with strengthening the eye muscles, to improve vision and to prevent any eye related disorder.
Many eye problems are caused due to stress and tension. Therefore, one can perform simple yet effective exercises that are beneficial for eyes. Eye-strengthening exercises provide protection from various eye related disorders and helps in the improvement of vision. There are innumerable eye exercises for better vision. Concentrating on a particular object is one of the simplest and effective eye-strengthening exercise. It serves as an excellent solution to strengthen your eye muscles. You can hold a pen in your hand and concentrate on its tip for a couple of seconds. Looking at your left and right hand side as well as upward and downward for about 10-15 times is also effective. Rolling your eyes completely is another fantastic exercise. Some other eye strengthening exercises are given below:
Palming - Sit
comfortably in front of a table, resting your elbows on a stack of
cushions high enough to bring your palms easily to your eyes without
stooping forward or looking up. Close your eyes and cover them with your
cupped palms to exclude light, avoiding pressure on the sockets. Breathe
slowly and evenly, relaxing and imagining deep blackness. Begin by doing
this for 10 minutes, two or three times a day.
Color Day -
Choose a color and look out for it throughout the day. When you
see that color, be aware of the color and experience it. For
example, if you see a red car, experience the shade of red, not
the car.
See Clearly Method - One simple way of doing this would
be to hold a small object in your hand and slowly move it away
from your face, ensuring that your eye follows the object and
retains focus upon it.
Tromboning - You need to hold a small object, starting at
arm's length. Then you have to breathe in and move the object
slowly closer to your face, until it touches your nose. You are
then required to breathe out, looking at the object as you again
move it away from your face.
