How to Get Rid
of Aging Signs
|
|
If there is one thing that
the whole world has invested millions in, which may not really kill the
body but definitely the self-confidence, is anti aging cosmetics and
products. Every product that enters the market promises to be the
one-stop solution for all aging problems that people face with ageing.
However, one could ask, is that all there is to age defying? Is aging
not a natural process like any other health ailment, and thus related to
the lifestyle and diet of the person concerned? The answer is a firm
Yes. |
|
|
Aging is as much related to
the lifestyle and diet that a person follows as it is to external
factors like harsh sun and pollution. Here are some ways in which you
can keep aging at bay. |
Ways to Reduce Aging Signs
|
|
Exercise Right:
Since we
all know that wrinkles and sagging skin are caused by the skin that
turns loose and dry, it is best to exercise and boost the health of our
skin. By getting into an exercise regime, one can achieve a more toned
skin and a more muscular body, which in turn causes the skin to stretch.
You will notice many of the wrinkles disappear in the process.
Alternately, you could opt for jogging or a brisk walk for an hour or
two daily. In case you are fit enough for your age, an option you could
try is the gym or any sport of your choice. When your metabolism speeds
up, the loose skin will soon be replaced by muscles. |

Diet Right:
Nutritionists
have come out with the anti aging diet – full of foods that are
antioxidants rich and low on toxins and will prevent and even reverse
aging. Sticking to the anti-aging diet is highly advisable, even if you
have achieved the results that you wanted. It slows down the aging
process, because it propagates the intake of less fat, sugar, and
carbohydrates. Another important thing to remember is to drink plenty of
water. Since wrinkles are caused by skin that has lost moisture,
drinking a lot of water will help bring back the lost moisture, thus
making skin more healthy and toned. |

Makeup to
Hide Age: Make
up is another effective way to hide ageing signs. And there are a
lot of different cosmetics that can help you hide them – for
instance, concealers are the best thing available for hiding lines,
wrinkles and skin blemishes. All you need to do to look younger than
your age is to carefully apply a few layers of the right kind of
concealer. You could also apply foundation to places that show age
like wrinkles and fine lines, and spread it evenly so that it looks
natural. Once done with that, you could apply your usual makeup to
suit your face and enhance your features. Once done, look in the
mirror closely and check if it looks natural. |
|
Screen the
Sun:
The sun's rays are by
far the worst thing that happened to the skin – they are notorious
for drying the skin, which acts as a catalyst to the aging process.
During summer or during any other day that is extremely sunny, don’t step out of the house without a sunscreen.
The sunscreen lotion that you choose should have a high SPF (sun
protection factor), above 30 or so. Also, carry an umbrella when
you go out in the sun. |
|
Wash Your
Face:
Washing your skin
removes dirt and other elements that contribute to wrinkling. Give
much focus to your face and hands, since they are usually the
first ones to develop aging signs. Right after washing, apply
moisturizing lotion to preserve your skin even further. |
